BIO​

Begins her artistic and musical experience at the age of 5 years in ballet schools, participating in numerous festivals, as well as being part of school choirs. Also winning the first places in many singing competitions.

In 1998 she participated in various theatrical events such as the musical play “Grease” with the lead role as "Sandy," "Footloose" and “Jesus Christ Superstar”

Significantly, participation in musical theater with one of the lead roles in "Songs for a New World" in the city of Monterrey Nuevo Leon.

She has alternated with several mexican artists including Diego Schoening (Timbiriche), as opening show for Paulina Rubio and Yuridia

She was part of the women's group country "Hillbilly Rose" as the main voice.

In January 2010 she recorded his first album "La idea de ti" with songs of her own authorship. Makes the official presentation of the album "La idea de ti" at the Teatro de los Heroes on Tuesday June 15, 2010, having a great success and great response from the Chihuahua´s public, as well as the media.

Faride Talamás receives invitation to the Bicentennial celebrations 2010 to present "La idea de ti" in the City Theatre.

Lead singer of the show “La orilla del mundo”, invited to 6th International Festival of Chihuahua and the CERVANTINO INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL 2010.

She also was the lead singer of the theme of the 2010 Universiade and the World March of the IAAF in 2010 with the company PURPLE PEOPLE.

She has been invited to participate with her album "LA IDEA DE TI" in numerous events such as VIVA LA RADIO 2010 organized by Multimedios in "El Palomar" before a capacity crowd of 35,000 people. Open Yuridia concert singer in her "Nada es color de rosa" in the Manuel Bernardo Aguirre place on November 26, 2010.

Faride Talamás receives invitation to sing in the CLOSING CONCERT CHRISTMAS SEASON FALL 2010 PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA STATE OF CHIHUAHUA (OFECH) With the participation of the Academic Choir of the Faculty of Arts (FA) of the Autonomous University of Chihuahua ( UACH) Coral Workshop "Sagrado corazon" and El coro de nuestra señora de Guadalupe in Delicias city, in the Metropolitan Cathedral in the city of Chihuahua, as well as in the Temple of the Mexican martyrs in December 2010, under the direction of Maestro. Oliver Payan Bilbao.

Get invited to sing the songs of their album in the May Festival 2011 in the Puerto Vallarta’s city, having a great acceptance by the Vallarta´s public.

In September 2011 she was invited to sing at the press conference of the Panamerican games in Puerto Vallarta where premières the representative anthem games Vallarta comprising herself and rapper F3RGO: '' Píntate en la paz''; Receives official invitation to sing this subject in receiving the torch October 7, 2011 in the great Vallarta Malecon, as well as songs from his album '' La idea de ti ''

In December 2011 received invitation to open the concert of a mexican artist Yuridia again on tour in Puerto Vallarta.

She  worked and trained with coreographer DEBRA BROWN and  with the musical director, composer and musician RENÉ DUPÉRÉ of Cirque Du Soleil in the RYTHMS OF THE NIGHT spectacle in 2013,  also with the canadian crew:

Dominic Dagenais, Manavit Manon, Mireille Vachon, Rene Bazinet (JOY by Cirque Du Soleil)

Learned from Marie Louise Bourbeau and Laur Fugère as vocal coaches.

 

She worked for Alberto Espino director in the musical movie “LA FLAMA SAGRADA” in Constanza’s role, such movie went into the Venice Film Festival 2015
Faride received an invitation to be on tour in Spain on 2014 with one of the  best orchestras in the country.

Actually works on her new album called  "Fairytale".

Faride is a well-rounded entertainer, equally at home on stage and in the studio. A natural powerhouse, she boasts a strong, warm, and textured voice that is equally at home in pop, rock, country and musical theater. Elegant and charming, yet ferocious and energetic.

Faride has worked in theaters and stages all over Mexico, Spain, and Chicago. She has worked with Cirque Du Soleil’s team members, such as Debra Brown, Renè Dùperè, Marie Louise Bourbeau, Laur Fugerè, and Rene Bazinet in the renowned spectacle, Rhythms of the Night. Other notable credits include Mexican productions of Grease (Sandy), Footloose (Ariel), Songs for a New World (Woman 2), Jesus Christ Superstar (Mary Magdalene), the film, The Sacred Flame (Constanza), musical reviews Hello, Barbra! Hello, Bette!: A Tribute to Barbra Streisand and Bette Midler (Main Singer) The Best of Broadway, Reflections: A Tribute to the Girl Groups of the 60s, and as a singer in Mexico with The Chihuahua Philharmonic Orchestra and in Spain with the Orquesta Nueva Alaska. Recently she landed a speaking role in a Chicago-based production of Rock of Ages, her first American casting.

She has shared the stage with several Mexican artists, including Diego Schoening of Timbiriche, and has been the opening act for superstars Paulina Rubio and Yuridia.

Faride was also the lead vocalist of the country band, Hillbilly Rose.

In January 2010, she recorded her first original album, La idea de ti. The album was a huge success in her native Chihuahua and led to a string of successful performances, televised events, and touring opportunities throughout Mexico and across the Atlantic in Spain.

Faride has worked and trained with choreographer, Debra Brown, and director, composer, and musician, René Dupéré, of Cirque Du Soleil in Rhythms of the Night, a musical spectacular. Her team also consisted of notable artists: Dominic Dagenais, Manavit Manon, Mireille Vachon, and Rene Bazinet of Cirque du Soleil fame.

She also trained under world-renowned vocal coaches, Marie Louise Bourbeau and Laur Fugère.

 

In 2014, she was invited to tour Spain with the Orquesta Nueva Alaska (now known as Alaska on Tour), one of Spain's most successful musical groups.

 

Faride also played Constanza, a leading role in the musical, La Flama Sagrada. The film was later hailed as a hit at the 2015 Venice Film Festival.

Recently, she moved to Chicago, IL, and is currently working on new music.
